This TED talk by Donald Clark really gave me time to sit back and reflect. In my job I am exposing more teachers and students to blended learning than has ever happened before. I see its value and appreciate the power behind this type of learning. The very fact that I can open my ‘classroom walls’ in a way that makes learning extended and transparent to the student and family at home is super exciting. Donald talks about how social media is driving the change we see in education through its tools and open learning spaces it creates. Why wouldn’t we want that for our students?
