CELL DIVISION HAIKU
METAPHASE AND ANAPHASE,
ENDS WITH TELOPHASE
For the biology portion of my culminating assignment, I chose cell division. I chose this learning point because I found it to be the most important, and most enduring. Cell division is very important to the biology unit because to understand the big things, you need to start small, microscopically small. Understanding the cells and their division is like understanding the building blocks of every single lifeform. Cell division can be applied to real-life scenarios too. If someone were trying to get pregnant this knowledge could be very helpful; especially if they were trying to use an alternate method (e.g. fertility treatments).
Above are the videos that I chose as my references for my key learning point. These videos were chosen because they could easily help someone to understand cell division and mitosis. Both websites explain (basically) the same thing but in different ways; which is helpful. These videos are not only educational but entertaining too. I would recommend these videos to anyone trying to understand cell division.
